We all know that walking for at least 30 minutes a day can have immense benefit for the mind, body and soul. Like most aerobic activities, regular walking, is good for you because cardio-vascular exercise strengthens the heart and lungs, increasing overall fitness.

 The Oshwal Association of the UK North West Area (OAUKNAW) are organising a Walking Club, Starting on 5th June 2016, where every Sunday you can take a part in this simple but effective exercise and get fit for the Summer. 

The OAUKNWA are encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to take part. Participants are requested to arrive by 8.45am at Byron Park (Meeting point Skating park by parking lot of Harrow Leisure Centre, Christchurch Ave, Harrow, HA3 5BD).  The walks are intended to take place around London and Greater London.

So whether it’s for fun, to meet new friends or simply make the best start to your Sunday why not get involved and get fit at the same time!

Things to consider If you are talking part:-

Please remember to do your warm up and cool down stretches. 

Wear comfortable clothing.  

Wear comfortable walking shoes.  

Carry ample amount of water.  

Protect your head and skin from the sun.

If needed carry a walking stick.
