A major exhibition presenting how artists have been influenced by technology and the internet over the past six decades. The exhibition is taking place from 29th January 16 – 15th May 16 at the Whitechapel Gallery, and what a show to start 2016 with. Arranged in reverse chronological order, the exhibition starts off with works made in the recent years, and ends with the innovative and revolutionary movement Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T). This movement took place in 1966, a key point in art history, when a group of artists including Andy Warhol, and Bell Laboratories engineers created a series of events, “9 Evenings: Theatre and Engineering”.
